Pocketfold sets, for example, typically require $0.68 in postage (as of 2016). Alternatively, postcards only need $0.34 in postage (as of 2016) making this a great option for your save the dates or reply cards. Whatever you decide, make sure to check with your stationer before you order your cute wedding stamps!

Hand-Cancel Your Mail
Instead of letting the post office run your stationery through a machine-operated sorting system (which marks each envelope with thick lines and may damage the envelope in the process) ask them to “hand cancel” your invitations. This means that they’ll use a special ink stamp to mark your invitation and they’ll sort it by hand, reducing the risk of the damage. Most post offices are flexible with this option, though some may add a fee for this extra service. It's well worth the trip inside to save your beautiful, custom stationery from ruin!
